The GovShop platform helps public sector buyers find relevant suppliers faster so you can do your best market research; the amount of suppliers signing up to GovShop is growing steadily and the amount of buyers using it is growing rapidly). There are resources that can assist you to get to know how to use it better. There is the Getting Started section, and a training section which includes a 2-minute video to get a quick overview, the key features of GovShop to use for supplier research, using the right keywords and techniques for effective market research – to name a few. US DoD to Use VR Tech to Train Troops
The US Department of Defense is exploring new ways to tackle the complexity of nuclear threats. Virtual reality (VR) offers the most pragmatic approach to training armed forces for nuclear scenarios in particular. Most branches of the military are expressing an interest in VR technology for a variety of training and simulation. Read more about that here.
VR in Use at All Three UK Military Services
Virtual Reality is also being used and has been adopted by UK military for training purposes, particularly for combat scenarios, in all three services (army, navy and air force). The VR equipment allows soldiers to experience a particular situation within a controlled area. It is also now used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder. Read more here.
