Slync, an intelligent automation company that has doubled its team in just three months, announces the addition of two more renowned industry veterans to its leadership team: Samuel Israel, former regional CEO of DHL Global Forwarding and Nikos Papageorgiou, a digitization expert from Deloitte.
According to KPMG, companies will spend $232 billion on intelligent automation (IA) technology in 2025, compared to $12.4 billion this year. As the market for IA technology grows, Slync is expanding and investing in its people to solve customer problems and meet demand.
Global logistics leader Samuel Israel, the former regional CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, has moved from an advisory role into a full-time leadership position as president of Slync International. Nikos Papageorgiou, a supply chain digitization and transformation expert from Deloitte, has been named VP of customer success. The additions of Israel and Papageorgiou continue a period of rapid growth and talent acquisition for Slync.

Israel, who was already serving as a member of Slync’s Advisory Board, is a seasoned and successful executive in the logistics industry. As a regional CEO, Israel led DHL Global Forwarding for more than 10 years, where he built a multibillion-dollar logistics organization in Latin America. He brings more than 35 years of global logistics, freight forwarding and international trade experience to his role as president of Slync International.
