This position is responsible for all aspects and functions related to corporate Egg Procurement and Sourcing.This position is located in Wakefield, NE.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage/Direct the short-term sourcing and scheduling of internal and external egg supplies to fulfill egg requirements for all EPC locations.
• Research, collect and analyze data for effective egg sourcing decisions, both long and short term.
• Knowledgeable with egg industry marketing and pricing relationships.
• Manage/Direct long-term sourcing plan development and annual plan budgeting activities for egg requirements.
• Manage/Direct procurement strategic planning initiatives.
• Develop a complete understanding of procurement’s role and interaction with all functional and service areas within Michael Foods.
• Have an understanding of egg production, transportation and egg processing operations.
• Knowledgeable in grain risk management activities.
• Complete and supervise special projects and other duties as assigned.
